About Amazon Warehouse motherboards
- What it is. Amazon Warehouse, now sold under the name Amazon Resale, is stock that was returned, arrived in damaged packaging or was opened. Amazon inspects it and grades it Like New, Very Good, Good or Acceptable.
- Check the socket pins. On AM5 and every Intel LGA board the pins are in the socket, and bent pins are the usual reason a board is returned. Inspect the socket under a good light as soon as it arrives.
- Same returns. Warehouse items are sold and dispatched by Amazon with its normal returns policy, so a faulty board goes back like any other order.
- The saving compares the Warehouse price with the same board bought new on Amazon.co.uk today. When the new price has fallen below the Warehouse price we say so rather than hide the offer.
- What is left out. A board that sells new for under £40 is not listed: the saving is too small to matter. A board that nobody sells new at the moment is still listed, marked “not sold new”, with no saving shown because there is nothing to compare it with.
- They sell quickly. We check every six hours. The price shown on Amazon.co.uk when you buy is the one that applies.
