Email alerts
Tell us what you are waiting for and we will email you when it happens: a board falling to your price, an Amazon Warehouse offer appearing on a board, or any Warehouse offer whose name contains the words you choose.
Warehouse keyword alert
Hear about Amazon Warehouse (used and open-box) motherboards as they appear. Choose the words the board name must contain, then narrow it down if you like.
Price alert on one board
Open the page of any board and use the “Email me when the price drops” box there. Start from the price drops, the Warehouse deals or the chipset pages.
Our alert emails are not switched on yet. An alert you create now is saved, and its confirmation email will be sent when they are.
How alerts work
- After you create an alert, a confirmation email will be sent to you. The alert only starts once you use the link in it; an alert that is never confirmed is deleted after 7 days.
- We check Amazon.co.uk prices about every six hours, so an alert can be a few hours behind Amazon. Prices change: the price on Amazon.co.uk when you buy is the one that applies.
- You get at most one email per alert per check, and we do not repeat ourselves unless the price has fallen by another 2% or some time has passed (two days for Warehouse offers, a week for prices).
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to pause or delete your alerts.
What we store
Your email address, the alert you set up, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your IP address, the times you signed up and confirmed, and the emails we have queued or sent for the alert. We use this only to send the alerts you asked for and to stop the form being abused; we never pass it on. Deleting an alert removes it at once; after you unsubscribe we keep the address for 30 days and then only a hash of it. More in the privacy policy.
