How to tell a real Black Friday motherboard deal

Compare with the board’s own history, not the “was” price. Every board page here shows the price it has actually held. A board is listed above only when it is 10% or more below the time-weighted median of the last 90 days.
Prices often fall before the day itself. Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday is 30 November, but Amazon UK’s sale usually starts days earlier and some boards dip in early November. A price drop alert catches it whenever it happens.
Check the socket and the BIOS first. A cheap board is no deal if it cannot start your processor. Read BIOS updates and CPU compatibility, then pick by socket.
Older chipsets are often the real bargains. B650 boards run the same Ryzen 9000 chips as B850, and B760 runs the same 14th gen chips as Z790 if you do not overclock. See B850 vs B650 and Z790 vs B760.
Warehouse stock sells fastest in a sale. Amazon Warehouse (Amazon Resale) boards are returns graded by Amazon, with its normal returns policy. Check the CPU socket pins when one arrives. Are Warehouse motherboards worth it?
