The AM5 motherboards under £100 in stock on Amazon.co.uk, best value first. This list is generated from price, popularity and the specifications each Amazon listing states, not from hands-on testing.
The cheapest AM5 boards are mostly Micro-ATX models on the A620 chipset, with an entry-level B650 or B840 board appearing when discounted. Expect DDR5 memory, one or two M.2 slots, PCIe 4.0 at most and power delivery sized for 65 W Ryzen processors. WiFi and PCIe 5.0 are unusual at this level, and A620 and B840 do not allow CPU overclocking. Every AM5 board takes Ryzen 7000, 8000G and 9000 chips, although older stock may need a BIOS update for the newest ones.

How this list is made
Nobody at motherboarddeals.co.uk has tested these boards. The list is generated from the data we hold: the price on Amazon.co.uk, how well the board sells, and the specifications its Amazon listing states. A board has to be in stock and under the budget to appear. It then scores points for being in stock (10), for its Amazon sales rank (up to 30, on a sliding scale), for selling below its own usual price of the last 90 days (one point per percent, up to 20, once we hold two weeks of its price history), for the features its listing states (up to 30: WiFi generation, 2.5 GbE or faster networking, the number of M.2 slots, PCIe 5.0 and a BIOS flashback button) and for how recently it was first available (up to 10). The line under each board names the factors that counted for it. A feature the listing does not state scores nothing, so a good board with a thin listing can rank lower than it deserves, and CPU and board bundles are left out. The order is recalculated whenever prices are checked, roughly every six hours; nobody can pay to move up it. How we track motherboard prices explains where the numbers come from.
